Best time to visit the The Belvedere Palace
Weekday vs Weekend
#
- Weekdays see fewer tourists as compared to weekends. There are shorter wait times. You can access audio guides and explore the palace at your own pace.
- Weekends tend to be comparatively more crowded than weekdays. Weekends offer full access to all permanent and temporary exhibitions in the Belvedere Palace, which may be restricted during some weekdays. You may have to wait in lines, however, they start to thin out quite fast. If you keep a few hours on hand, you can explore the exhibits comfortably, even during weekends. Regardless of the day of the week, there are fewer crowds early in the morning and around late afternoon.
Peak season vs low season
#
- Peak season (March to June, September to October): The cooler spring and fall months are ideal for outdoor exploration. The 21 Museum also hosts several temporary exhibits around this time.
- Shoulder season (July to August): The warmer summer months offer clear skies, however, you may find it hard to explore the palace premises in the heat.
- Low season (November to February): The harsh winter months typically see fewer crowds.
