I have to say that I have rarely had such a good and, above all, competent tour guide. We were very impressed as a family!

It was impressive what the guide knew. You could tell that history was his thing. It wasn't memorized history, he knows the history of the castle very well. Everything was great, we would book again.

Anne Marie told wonderful stories in every room of the tour. She was very easy to understand. And she made a lovely Viennese host and Shonbrunn guide. Thank you!
Guide was knowledgeable and very good at getting us through crowds. Don't take back packs or umbrellas you have to check them in and there isn't enough time to do that.
Very nice tour of the castle with a friendly, courteous guide. We were able to visit 22 rooms and learn all kinds of new information. Afterwards we had enough time to explore the park. Gladly again

Alex our guide was the best! Excellent narration and pronunciation. Very detailed historical facts that made the visit interesting and intriguing. Alex thanks a lot and keep up the good work! Highly recommended!
Interesting guide, with a good knowledge of the city and her subject. She brought the visit to life with her anecdotes. Bravo et merci

Hello, we were in the Grün group yesterday on 14.30 and had a very experienced and knowledgeable guide who gave us an unforgettable insight into Schönbrunn Palace. Thanks for that👍👋🤩

Michael, the guide was very knowledgeable and humourous. He had a deep knowledge of history and its relevance to society today. He was good with trivia and kept us engaged.
Everything was great! Gabi was a great guide and told us very interesting and informative stories about the Schoss and the Habsburgs. Thank you very much!

Really easy to find the meeting point. The guide Martina is very approachable and friendly. I enjoyed her commentary. The palace is amazing.
Our Guide-Edie- was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable, brimming with enthusiasm to pass on his historical knowledge of Vienna, the culture of the people and society, and the opulence of Sisi and Schönbrunn Palace.
I chose an "English" tour, but the tour was actually conducted in both English and Spanish. I found this distracting, and limited the amount of information the guide could provide. I discussed this with him and asked if two language groups had been combined because neither group was "full", and he said, no, that it is normal for tours to be conducted in both languages. If this is the case, it should be clearly stated in the promotional information. I feel like I got half the tour I paid for.
Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. The headsets worked well to ensure we heard her commentary. Very interesting.
To be honest I think visiting Schonbrunn without a guide would be the better choice. The time spent inside and the number of rooms shown took nearly 2,5 hours. Afterwards we spent only half an hour in the gardens. You can easily visit the gardens on your own, but if both inside and outside tour are combined, it would be much better to have a half hour break between the two.
The degree of knowledge the guide has was appreciated. The actual "expereince" left something to be desired. Meet at 2:15, 20 minutes later the guide goes to get the group ticket. By 2:50 the group is outside the main entrance to the palace. Our entry time is 3:13, by now an hour into the tour and we have not set foot in the palace. The hour long tour was ok, very informative. We emerged for a further 25 minute wait outside before heading to the gardens (which are free to enter by the way). Could not recommend this tour, a DIY version with audio commentary would be preferable
It is not what we expected because it is actually sponsored as Princess Sissi's summer palace but there is no mention of Sissi at all.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and eloquent. She explained the history of the Habsburgs to us with charm and humor. It was really great!

Schönbrunn Palace was great. However, the zoo does not live up to its reputation. It is considered one of the leading zoos, but does not meet expectations.

We enjoyed the tour very much. I would recommend anyone visiting Vienna to take this tour and experience the history of Austria.
The tour was good, but it was very crowded so the headset frequently interfered. The guide did a great job and was very enthusiastic.
We enjoyed the guided tour of the palace and appreciated our guide's insights and stories. She was very soft spoken though but once we had the headset, it was much better. Walking through the gardens was very nice and seeing the Schönbrunn fountain was also special.
Our guild was given an excellent tour thanks to his knowledge and fascinating presentation. Thank you very much!

I was expecting to be able to board a bus straight away when I bought online. That wasn't clear to me when I made the purchase. Only after booking did I receive the information that I had to travel to a certain stop to redeem the ticket first. I hadn't planned for that. In addition, as a group of 11 people, we deliberately didn't get off the bus because we were afraid that we wouldn't be able to get back on together at an intermediate stop because the buses were so full and only a few people got off at a time. It would be better if you knew in advance that you would get a seat. For example, if you can reserve seats or similar.
View original review in German
You can get around Vienna, but the buses don't always run as frequently as indicated. Instead of every 20 minutes, the bus should come every hour. So you can't really plan your tour effectively.
View original review in German
We saw a lot of Vienna. However, the buses were far too full on the return journey. And we had to wait about 40 minutes.
View original review in German
It's a great way of getting around and seeing the sights of Vienna. Operator needs to do more to control queue's onto Bus. We were the first to get on but people snuck in the back entrance of bus and we were left without seats a few times and got told we had to wait for next bus.
An absolute must for first-time visitors to Vienna. Hop on and off wherever you want. This gives you a good first overview.

The bus ride in the morning was relaxed and informative. Unfortunately, the bus was so full in the afternoon that we had to sit downstairs in the luggage compartment. Unfortunately, there was no tape recorder, so we drove through a few stops without any information. It was also very stuffy and warm in the bus downstairs.
View original review in German
You get a loose overview of the city, but the information is very brief, not very meaningful and general. For the price, the question arises as to whether one should not travel directly to visitor destinations by public transport.
View original review in German
The bus was foggy inside. At times there was so much moisture on the windows inside that it was hard to see. It got better on the next bus. On one of the busses there was just music and no audio-guide for about 15 minutes. Some of the passengers got the personell to restart the system. Then it worked. The routes were nice and it was good to have roof, since it rained a lot.
Good route to see the most popular tourists spots

Route, description, music Note: unfortunately very long waiting times, a 25-minute interval would be perfect. The yellow bus from the competition came by more often. With the large volume of traffic, there should be 2 more buses. That was a pity.
View original review in German
The staff were not always friendly, especially one of the drivers who was rude and incorrect, the heat, due to the plexiglass roof on the outside (there are buses that don't have roofs in hot weather...for 42 euros, you'd expect a certain level of comfort!) the content, which deserves to be explored in greater depth.

An uncomplicated way to get to know a city. It's best to buy a ticket for 2 days. Slightly more expensive, but worth it. Very detailed information in many languages via headphones. It is a bit tricky to adjust them. Buses stop at the most important sights and run every 20 minutes. At least in Vienna. Highly recommended. Best to book online
View original review in German
With the two routes on offer, you could get a good overview of Vienna. Ideal if you can't / don't want to walk that much and want to be accompanied by an audio guide through the city. The headphones are available free of charge on the bus.

The tour is very well done and the stages are interesting but access to the starting point is not clear. When I clicked on the link to the starting point, I was connected to Google maps, but the address was not correct for the bus stop. It wasn't on the right street. And upstream, it didn't say that we couldn't start the tour at any point.

The audio-guided tour was really interesting and the bus drivers were friendly and drove carefully... We also really enjoyed the walking tour through the city center with Lukas Forster. He guided us through the city center for almost two hours and it was very entertaining, interesting and funny. He was very personable. All in all, a great experience. We would book the Hop-On Hop-Off bus again and again. Thank you!

We liked the audio guide and the accompanying music. Unfortunately, it was very warm and we would have appreciated air conditioning. The bus heated up very quickly through the plexiglass window. But Vienna is a wonderful city and we really enjoyed it. It was not the last time we were here.

The extensive tour of the many interesting sights to see in Vienna and the excellent arrangement of drivers and sales escorts. Very good audio guide
View original review in Spanish
Very good audio guide 1st bus: jolts that make you sick( blue line) Long waits at stops. I prefer the red line. 2h: too long Having taken a 2-day pass, we only used it for one day, as it was better to do EVERYTHING on foot. Too many similarities between the 2 lines...for the center.
View original review in French
We did the blue tour first. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather, it was raining so the windows in the upper part were very steamed up on the inside and wet on the outside and we couldn't see very well. The audio guide was not at the same time as the sights, i.e. we were already past when the sights were described. We had expected more information, it was very dry. On the red tour the seats upstairs were mostly wet. The heating was very warm.

A nice route with a good bus driver. Plenty of time to get on and off, especially for older passengers. Good explanation of the sights.
View original review in German
Good scene & commentary when we got back on from stop 1, very friendly driver the 2 nd time although the 1st one didn't appear to understand me and his non verbal response wasn't good
I found this "conversation" between the fictional characters ("And what do you think, Jana...?") rather suboptimal. I would have preferred a pure, clear statement of fact ("On the left you can see the opera house, built by X in year Y..."). And WITHOUT music!

The food onboard and the relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Nice litte town we visited (Dürnstein). We even got to experience the local band, rehearsal for their concert.
Very professional staff On time
The ship was great - I liked the inside area and the front deck. The deck at the back has more tables and chairs with a shade, but it is a smoking area. The trip itself was nice, but quite long (13 hours). The staff was great - friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was OK, cantine type, but I didn't expext anything special anyway. The a la carte drinks menu is good, although the prices are a bit high.
There is simply nothing to complain about. The staff were very friendly and funny, the food was good and the trip was very pleasant.

Our art historian tour guide was amazing and so incredibly knowledgeable that we learned so much and truly enjoyed the whole experience!
As instructed. we arrived 15 minutes early to commence the tour at 11am. Once the tour guide collected the entry tickets, we finally entered the Upper Belvedere Palce to commence the guided tour of the art gallery at 11.45am. The tour guide was very quietly spoken and at times difficult to hear Very dissapointing content Poor value for money

Anna was a wonderful guide, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us so much information about the history and people who lived in the palace. Not to be missed. Thank you
Guide was fine but group was large (17 I think.) We would prefer smaller group. Perhaps let people know before booking what size to expect. Also, there were some we had to wait for all the time.
Our guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. There were so many visitors, the venue was crowded, but we were glad to have the skip-the-line feature. So historical, the gardens are so vast.
Exceptional! Guided tour to the Upper Belvedere - Vienna We quickly found our guide, Otilia, who turned out to be a knowledgeable, kind and very helpful professional. She took us with great passion through the halls of the museum, making us dwell on some particularly significant works and carefully describing them, even dwelling on details that we probably would have ignored on our own. A truly enjoyable and interesting experience, which I highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the Belvedere with a knowledgeable and passionate guide.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a guided tour at the Hofburg Vienna, and it was an exceptional experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history and architecture of this magnificent palace. They brought the stories of the Habsburg dynasty to life with fascinating anecdotes and detailed explanations. The tour was well-paced, allowing us to fully appreciate the grandeur of the imperial apartments, the stunning collections in the museums, and the beautiful gardens. Our guide was also very attentive, answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. I highly recommend this guided tour to anyone visiting Vienna. It’s a fantastic way to delve into the rich history of the city and gain a deeper understanding of its cultural heritage. Five stars!
The guide was competent and friendly. Unfortunately, it was so crowded that you couldn't really see everything, e.g. the chronological order of the Sisi paintings. What a pity! In addition, not all rooms were open to visitors due to the construction work. Mmh, some information would have been fair. For a bit more Hofburg flair, I visited the library, which cost me another entrance fee.

The tour by our guide was great. The museum itself was an imposition. The organization seems to be designed for maximum profit. Far too cramped, far too full. It would be better to organize it in such a way that guided tours are allowed in at certain times, and private visitors are also allowed in at other times. MfG Hoffmann

Once the tickets were obtained on the bus, the customer service for the boat was very bad, we were running out of time and the lady at the counter decided not to let us pass for the long tour even though they were waiting for us to board, due to the loss of time we could not complete the bus tour for an hour and we were not able to board the boat. The auto guide gave very little detail about Vienna. The audio was mostly music and a reminder to take your ear buds. Do detail about what time the bus schedule was. When the last bus was. And we got off to take a cruise and the employee at the stop had NO information about a cruise. The audio said they would have info. So we got off with no place to go. And a LONG wait for the next bus. It was an over all waste of time.
