Book Vienna City Pass Tickets & Tours

I could choose a transport that suited me. I was travelling by bus and by subway. I also appreciates discount for tickets to museums

The tickets were easy to book online. The public transport network in Vienna is very well developed. Some of the trains run every 5 minutes, so we only used public transport everywhere. We were even checked once, everything went very smoothly. The price/performance ratio was great.

Got robbed right in the main train station, backpack, incl. all documents, money cards, driver's license, money .... everything was gone! Only had cell phone and Wienaksrt ..... I don't have to say more ....

Being able to use unlimited public transportation for the whole week made our stay a lot easier. The discounts were also great, I was able to save a lot, but I couldn't book any experiences online, which made me unsure whether we would be able to get a place (e.g. Spanish Riding School).

Vienna is really something special. It was a very relaxed vacation (with a child) also because we already had the City cards and some of the tickets we were interested in. By ordering online, we were able to use all public transport in the city without any problems and reach all destinations easily.

Train and bus ticket included was great. However, the discounts per attraction/museum were unfortunately quite low and many did not recognize the ticket because "the Vienna City Pass must be red"...

The Vienna City Card was incredibly convenient—easy to purchase, simple to use, and made getting around the city stress-free. A must-have for hassle-free travel in Vienna.

Public transportation in Vienna is excellent: good network and very high frequency. The multi-day offer is good. The discount options could be clearer. The information that children under 16 travel free with this multi-day ticket is misleading, as they always travel free in Vienna.

We were able to use all means of transportation without worry and the discount we received was significantly higher than the cost of the card.

In Vienna, the train is a great means of transportation - we always got to our destinations very quickly. Since Vienna is a very expensive place, it was nice to save on sightseeing with the Vienacard, but there are also places you can visit for free like the city park or just take the train further and get off somewhere. You will be surprised at the diversity of Vienna behind the big tourist magnets....

The audio guide only covers the place visited in one or two sentences. This should be communicated to the user in advance, as you can go to the visited objects with completely wrong expectations. It is also difficult, sometimes impossible, to find the booked ticket on the cell phone. However, this is necessary for inquiries about discounts in e.g. museums etc., as discounts for the ViennaCard are only calculated if the complete ticket is displayed on the cell phone. A booking number only appears if you go to Account and then to Audioguides. This is very confusing and confusing. You should actually find your tickets under: Bookings. The Vienna City Card made it possible for us to reach many sights in a very short time and to visit them with reduced admission. All the outer districts are also very easy to reach. A negative aspect for us was the construction site for streetcars 1 and 2, which meant we had to use the 71E rail replacement service, which was unpunctual and sometimes passed through the stop. Unfortunately, we were unable to validate the barcode of the digital card at any point. This should be done on the first day? We will definitely recommend the City Card to others.

We were able to travel across the huge city of Vienna from one hotspot to the next without any problems. Without the Vienna Card, we wouldn't have been able to do this by private car. Neither in the subway nor in the streetcar or bus was it overcrowded or unbearably hot (at 30 degrees C outside temperature).

Absolutely uncomplicated, very easy to book and, in combination with the Wien Mobil app, mobile throughout Vienna on all routes. Great. The discounts are deducted just as easily at the ticket offices. Great thing!!!

The problem-free use of public transport. It was unclear: we received an e-mail asking us to validate the Vienna City Card. But we couldn't find a place where we could validate the card. A multi-day card for all public transportation is excellent. No need to pay attention to zones or times... A hop-on hop-off card makes the whole thing perfect.

Senior citizen tickets in the museums were often cheaper and the ticket was not recognized in the art museum. But it was recognized. Everywhere we went we had to compare which was cheaper. We liked the good public transportation.

The local transport was punctual, the connections were good, we didn't have long waiting times, we particularly noticed the cleanliness in the trains and in the stations, there was fresh air everywhere and no stench as we know it from other metropolises

Vienna is a great city to travel through by public transport. The subways are fast and you can get to every part of the city. They are clean and have a nice atmosphere. Just hopping on a streetcar is easy and makes for a great sight-seeing experience and makes traversing the city even more enjoyable. We got discounts at several musea, so that's nice too. We'll definitively come back and use the card again.

The use of the Hopp on Hopp off Tours was good. However, it was not clear that this only applies to the BigBus! There is also a yellow tour! The use of public transport was also good!

I found it very convenient and very good value. One problem - I think it would be better to explain to people that they must get a rail ticket from Vienna International airport when they arrive. However I did get this at a discounted rate.

I liked the wide range of attractions covered by the pass, including the fact that you can use the hop-on hop-off buses without restrictions. There were never any problems scanning the code. Unfortunately, "Time Travel" was not included. There is a slight deduction in the rating for the fact that - at least for me - downloading to the cell phone was cumbersome. I would have liked to have received a pass in card form at the info center. So I always had to hope that my cell phone battery wouldn't die in the meantime Unfortunately you had to pay an extra €9 in Schönbrunn to see all the rooms. But it was still worth it. The booklet accompanying the pass should definitely include the opening times of the attractions! The pass was helpful for me overall.

We're being sold 90 activities, but in reality it's impossible to do this in 1 day. Misleading advertising. Many activities close between 3pm and 5pm! How can we do a minimum number of activities between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to make a profit of 99€? !!!!!!

The Vienna Pass was not recognized in part, Sissy Museum, Treasury and also hop on hop off! It is also misleading, it is written Wien -Pass, but the cashiers want to read Vienna -Pass!

The pass gives you acces to most of the atractions and skip lines for tikets.

It's too complicated to deal with these tickets. EVERYTHING should be done digitally, not that you have to go to Schönbrunn Palace to book a Timeslott! Also the Danube tour, there is nowhere where you have to book it!

in Schönbrunn they didn't know much about it, in the end it went through. but when we got to the zoo it didn't help anything and they turned us away. so it's better to buy at the counter and ok.

i bought this flex city tickets online. based on my understanding i bought 4 attractions ones, and i thought i could used hop on off buses too, but nowhere in the explanation says that if you use the hop on bus it's counted one attraction, i think that's a trick they play to sell these tickets also some attractions you had to get i line again and show them your online pass and they print out an actual ticket for you.

Not queuing, flexibility about the usage of the card and the choice of attractions

Poorly set up, poor or inadequate description - the description of one attraction stated that you could simply use the Vienna Flex Ticket to get there during the museum's opening hours (Sisi Museum in the Hofburg) and then gain admission - but this was not the case at all. At the ticket counter of the Sisi Museum we were then told that we had to book a fixed timeslot, which of course we didn't know and on that day everything was already fully booked and overcrowded (by the Republic of China), so that we had no chance of getting into the museum despite having already paid for the ticket. Similar problems then arose at Schönbrunn Palace and the staff at the zoo couldn't do much with the QR code from the Vienna Flexi Ticket because it simply didn't work. It was very annoying and frustrating, we were very disappointed and will definitely NOT be buying a Vienna Ticket again!
